Portland, Ore. – February 28, 2013 – Site9, Inc. today announced the release of ProtoShare 8, the latest version of one of the industry’s leading collaborative user interface prototyping tools and wireframe software. New features in ProtoShare 8 enhance the product’s speed and ease-of-use for the creation of mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile software applications.

In the ProtoShare Editor, new laser guides offer more precise alignment, making it faster and easier to place components in a layout. The new Sidebar feature replaces the Listing from previous versions. The Sidebar’s tabbed interface provides more space for manipulating large lists of interactive states and components. In addition, drag-and-drop re-ordering is available for every listed component in the Sidebar.

In ProtoShare 8, collaborative Review has been split into Run and Share modes. Run mode opens a prototype in a new window, enabling interactivity and navigation between pages. Share mode opens a new tab in the user’s browser, allowing users to add topics and comments to the prototype for collaboration, feedback and decisions.

Site9 also announced the upcoming release of a new and improved Stencils and Widgets Library. The improved library will feature a significant expansion of Stencils and Widgets, including colorable icons, arrows and shapes, and a fully rebuilt Android library based on the official Google Android Stencil Sheets.
