Features Added

  • Font styling for all components!

    You can now change font styling for all components, not just Rich Text. Controls are in the Appearance Toolbar and in the pop-up Inspector. This was one of the most requested ProtoShare enhancements. Let us know how it works for you!

New ProtoShare Business Edition Features

Business Edition is a new ProtoShare offering.

  • Automatic Design Locking

    Get notified when you attempt to edit a Design someone else has open. Very useful for large teams.

  • Always on https

    Login and billing screens are always https secured, but now you can secure your entire session.

  • Design Versioning

    Experiment with confidence by creating roll-back save points for Designs, Masters and Templates.

Bugs Fixed

  • Screenshots: Smart Images appear blank.
  • Some Rich UI components resize when converted to master.
  • User Duplication: if new email address is specified for duplicate, no invitation email is sent.
  • User Roles: Company Managers can change Billing Managers' passwords.
  • Discussion / Annotation pins 'always on' text should only show on hover.
  • HTML Export: Images referenced in stylesheet not in export.
  • State Values dialog scrollbar snaps to top after selection.
  • Editor: Appearance inspector is enabled when using Annotate tool.
  • Editor: Listing should be either opened or closed for all tabs.
  • Editor: Drag-duplicated components have wrong position.
  • Attempts to auto-import deleted objects cause errors.
  • Deleting states does not clear bindings, cause infinite sync loop.
  • Smart Images appear white in IE.
  • Word Export: Design misspelled.
  • Review: Annotations can be re-ordered.
  • Confusion caused by inability to drop from Palette when in Interactive mode.
  • Naming Designs: Design names are limitted to 200 characters, but save button isn't deactivated at 201.
  • SEO: Custom URL name not treated during export.
  • IE8 Developer does not get any feedback that they can't use editor when they log in.
  • Edit Profile: Whenever you edit your own profile and click "Save," it asks you if you're sure you want to change your role (even if you didn't).
  • Radio Button groups don't prevent more than one button from each group to be selected.
  • Entitlement usage data does not update dynamically.
  • Masters containing RIA components render incorrectly when dropped on a non-RIA parent layout.
  • Editor: "Remove Styles" doesn't remove rounded corners or surrounding shadow.
  • Notify of app upgrades without reloading.
