Site9, Inc., a software company based in Portland, Oregon, is the maker of ProtoShare and Two Minute Mobile. Site9 was founded in 1999 in Chicago, Illinois as a web development company. In 2006, Site9 moved to Oregon and switched its focus to software product development.

Management


Andrew S. Mottaz, Founder, President & CEO

Andrew co-founded Site9 as an interactive agency in 1999. He led the company's technology development, helping create and deploy a range of successful e-commerce sites. In 2006, after identifying much inefficiency and many pain points in the interactive development process, Andrew decided to address these inefficiencies with effective solutions, and Site9 transitioned into a software company. Today, he continues to lead the company through rapid growth as both CTO and President. Andrew earned a BA from Dartmouth College and a JD degree from Northwestern University. His law degree is now put to good use laying down the law for his daughter, Zoe.

Bob Wiggins

Bob Wiggins has 25 years experience in senior management, investor and board member roles for a number of successful Pacific Northwest companies, including BLT Technologies, Legal Anywhere, Veris Industries, Learning.com, Routeware, Marketsync, Cerus Industrial, and SnapNames.com. Bob is a graduate of the University of Oregon, with degrees in Economics and Law.


Tom Malone

Tom Malone has 25 years of management experience of which 15 have been in the role of CEO, COO, President, Senior Vice President or General Manager with P+L responsibility; conceived, launched, and managed new businesses through start-up and growth stages; has helped manage 7 acquisitions. CEO, COO or President in public and private companies as large as $1.6 billion and as small as $8 million in sales.


Jim Coonan

Jim Coonan has a strong strategic marketing background and has held many entrepreneurial roles throughout his career. Jim has served on several boards including Peak Audio Group, Kentrox, Inc., the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, the Portland Angel Network, and the Oregon University System, among others. He is also a member of the Mount Hood Equity Partners Advisory Board. Jim has an MBA from Northwestern and a BA from Stanford.


Charlie Burrows

Charlie Burrows has 30 years of senior management experience at QTC, TSSI, Decision Point Applications, and Genesis Financial Solutions. His skills center around sales, marketing, capital formation, team building, and corporate development. He earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Oregon and enjoys the adrenaline rush that comes with racing sports cars around the track. When not racing, Charlie can be found on the golf course or cheering on his beloved Ducks.

Josh K. Chaney

Josh Chaney believes in the lost art of listening and works with clients as a consultant to ensure their expectations are always exceeded. He has the rare ability to put himself in other people's shoes and dynamically view a situation from multiple perspectives. Josh began his career in Silicon Valley after earning his BS in Business Administration from St. Mary's College of California. He has 12 years experience as a leader in technology sales and business development for companies ranging from innovative venture-backed start-ups, to established Fortune 500s. When he's not helping clients, this native Portlander is typically found traveling, fly fishing, or overreacting to another "missed call" in a St. Mary's basketball game.


Steve Fisher

Steve Fisher has over 15 years experience in digital strategy, product marketing, and experience design. Steve is currently Managing Director of Appsolve, a product innovation and market launch studio. He has had leadership roles and contributed to the growth of businesses such as American Airlines, Coca-Cola, Sybase, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Visa, IKON and Network Solutions. Steve is also co-founder of The Revolution Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to building creative economy initiatives that promote social good in cities around the world. His hobbies include flying airplanes, fly fishing, travel, cooking, playing music and photography.


Steve Gray

Steve Gray is a technology consultant who helps marketing clients realize true innovation. Steve works primarily with interactive agencies, implementing cutting edge interaction designs and pushing the envelope on human-computer interaction (HCI). Steve is currently Executive Technology Director at Cypress Consulting where he works with marquee brands like Fox, Sony and Microsoft. His 20+ year career includes e-commerce and media work for Nike, Nintendo, Netflix, AT&T and HTC. Steve graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Engineering and a BA in Telecommunications.


Bruce Mowery

Bruce Mowery has over 20 years of marketing experience in high technology. At Apple Computer he helped position and launch almost every major product from 1984-1990, including the Macintosh personal computer, while serving as Director of Marketing. Subsequent to Apple, Bruce held senior sales and marketing positions with several technology companies including Visioneer, MusicNet, and more.com. Bruce also served as the "Entrepreneur in Residence" at Kleiner, Perkins, Caulfield, and Byers, one of Silicon Valley's premier venture capital firms. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, The American Graduate School of International Management, and holds a diploma from INSEAD, Europe's leading business management school.


Peter Weiss

Peter Weiss has over 25 years experience leading successful branding and integrated marketing programs for both Fortune 500 and start-up companies worldwide. While leading account management for agencies such as Grey, Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather, Peter helped launch companies and brands with Procter & Gamble, Danone, Mattel, Merck, Glaxo SmithKline, Dell, Oracle and Agilent in locations around the world. Peter played a key role in establishing market leadership for over 20 global brands, including growing Pringles to over $2 billion as P&G's most integrated brand, and launching Dell in Japan to help achieve year 1 sales of $350 million. Peter earned his MBA and BS from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
